Photos: Blessing of Graduates 2011
June 5, 2011
On Sunday, June 5, we offered blessings to our 2011 graduates as they make this major transition in their lives. You are invited to congratulate them and to remember them in prayer as they move into the world: Mitchell Blomquist, Patrick Confer, Noah Dwyer-Voss, Jayla Lee, Samantha Lee, Jacee Neumann, and Jack Wyatt III.
We also honored two graduating seniors from St. John’s: Noah Dwyer-Voss and Jacee Neumann. The Scholarship Committee is pleased to present Noah and Jacee with the first annual Morgan Award. Named for Bill and Donna Morgan, long-time members of St. John’s, the award honors graduating seniors for their service to the St. John’s community and out in the world. Noah and Jacee were both nominated by members of the congregation, and the committee chose to honor them for their exemplary record of service. Congratulations, Noah and Jacee!
Noah Dwyer-Voss and Patrick Confer were also given the honor of Arch Acolyte for their faithful and blessed service to the Order of St. John during their high school years.
Additionally, we offered congratulations to Helena and Ryan! The St. John’s Scholarship Committee is pleased to announce that this year’s St. John’s Scholarships have been awarded to Helena Chew, currently a student at the University of Portland, and Ryan Craney, currently enrolled at Cal Poly in the Architecture program. Please join us in wishing Helena and Ryan continued academic success as they pursue their studies.
Blessings to all of our high school graduates!
