Our members represent all walks of life and experiences and they live our Christian faith in our community. And often, they and St. John’s are in the news.

St. John's Lutheran Church hosted the installation of the Sierra Pacific Synod's new bishop, Mark Holmerud. Presiding Bishop Mark Hanson preached at the service. The Sacramento Bee covered the event, and you can read the article The Sacramento Bee.
