What do you do here at St. John's?
I serve as the Parish Nurse, a member of the ministry staff promoting health as wholeness to St. John’s, its families and individual members, and the community we serve. I share a 20 hour a week position with Susan Carson. Our role consists of being health educators and personal health counselors for the congregation, integrating faith and health, and facilitating program development, and serving as a referral source for members.

What was your childhood ambition?
To become a nurse.

What is your favorite Bible story and why?
My favorite Bible story is the story of the Good Samaritan. It is my favorite because it is a wonderful story of compassion and caring and as a nurse, I strive to always have both of these characteristics.
