St. John's is active in the Sacramento community at large and strives to help those in need both locally and in the world. We partner with organizations that work to help those most vulnerable, and we also volunteer with various community groups.
We will be hosting families through Family Promise of Sacramento again during the weeks of January 19th & March 22nd ! We are looking for people with gifts of hospitality, welcome, and preparing meals to greet our guests, bring dinner, and serve as overnight hosts throughout the week. If you are interested in serving, please contact Rebekah Turnbaugh at firstname.lastname@example.org.
First & Third

Be part of our ministry working with those who are unhoused. This program provides a healthy, hearty meal and a safe place for people to stay the night. It also is a time of hospitality and togetherness.
We need volunteers to help with making and serving dinner and breakfast, doing hospitality for the guests, helping to set up and clean up and to provide an overnight presence.
